Kennedy Guitar Ensembles

Playing in a guitar ensemble is a great way to stretch your musical abilities and learn how to play music with other people. Jean offers a guitar ensemble class that is a 10 week class for beginning to advanced guitarists. This class teaches students to work together in a chamber music setting, focusing on listening skills, teamwork and creating great musical moments. The semester ends with a recital performance by the ensemble for all to enjoy!

Christmas Guitar Ensembles Beginning Soon!

New students to the class need to audition with Ms. Kennedy for placement and skill level purposes. This winter there are 3 guitar ensemble groups! Rehearsals will be on Sundays throughout November and the first part of December in McPherson on the McPherson College campus. The Christmas Ensembles will be participating in the Multi-Piano and Guitar Ensemble Christmas Festival on December 16th at Central Christian College and performing at The Cedars Retirement Village on December 17th as a part of the Annual Christmas Guitar Recital! More performance opportunities are on the horizon!

Please contact Jean Kennedy directly for more information and registration for current and future ensemble classes!
